Conger: When I was in Delaware NOW–I was the state coordinator for Delaware NOW–and the Wilmington chapter was putting on an event. They were inviting a group of lesbians from Philadelphia to come down to Wilmington and talk to us about how it was being a lesbian in the world.

Well, I was not happy about that. But, I wasn’t going to say anything. However, I did have a headache that night, and it was the first NOW meeting I ever missed. I wonder what that was about.
