Mazer Collection

The June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives is committed to saving and sharing materials by and about lesbians and feminists of all classes, ethnicities, races and experiences. Our collections include personal letters and scrapbooks, artwork, manuscripts, books, music, newspapers, magazines, photographs, videotapes, flyers, papers of lesbian organizations, private papers, clothing including softball uniforms from the 1940s and ‘50s, posters, pins, and ephemera documenting lesbian and feminists lives and their collective histories.

Please let us know what you are looking for in advance of your visit so we can prepare the materials for you. Note: Some materials and collection(s) are located offsite. Please allow 2 weeks to prepare these items for you.

Material Donations

The Mazer encourages all lesbians to donate the everyday materials of your lives so that others can discover them in the future. The privacy of any donor is protected to whatever extent desired.

Please note that before donating any items to the Mazer, we ask that you first contact us by email or by phone at (310) 659-2478. We do not accept deliveries at our physical address.
