Off the Page: The Power of Poetry

The June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives, in partnership with the City of West Hollywood, invites the community to celebrate Women’s Herstory Month with Off the Page: The Power of Poetry. Moderated by Jen Cheng, Poet Laureate of West Hollywood the event includes featured guest Eloise Klein Healy, the inaugural Poet Laureate for the City of Los Angeles, reading from her own acclaimed body of work.

The event also includes special guests Ashley Vargas, Poet Laureate of Clark County, Nevada; Camille Hernandez, Poet Laureate of Anaheim; Simone Wallace, Co-founder of Sisterhood Bookstore; and Lisa Freeman, Author, Artist, and Teacher reading original poetry and selected poems from the Mazer Lesbian Archives.

This event takes place in the West Hollywood City Council Chambers - 625 North San Vicente Boulevard; Free parking.
Seating is limited; attendees are encouraged to reserve tickets in advance.
