Kymn Goldstein, Executive Director of Mazer
The June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives, the preeminent archive on the West Coast dedicated to collecting and preserving lesbian and feminist history, proudly announces the appointment of Kymn Goldstein as its first-ever Executive Director. This marks a transformative moment for the Archives, which has operated for 45 years as a volunteer-led organization. “The Mazer has always been a labor of love, and now, with dedicated leadership, we are poised to amplify our mission on a scale we’ve only dreamed of,” said Ann Giagni, longtime Board President of the Mazer Lesbian Archives.
“I am deeply honored to step into this role and build upon the extraordinary work accomplished by the volunteers, visionaries, and archivists who have shaped the Mazer into what it is today,” said Goldstein. “My goal is to honor that legacy while expanding our intergenerational reach and impact, while building long-term sustainability.”
