Volunteer Your Time, Energy and Expertise to Make a Difference!

Our volunteers are essential and fundamental to who we are as an organization. As a 501 (c) (3), the Mazer has relied upon and benefited from countless volunteers over our 45+ year history. The easiest way to get acquainted with the Mazer is by reaching out and scheduling a time to simply stop by the Archive or by attending one of our upcoming events.

Volunteers are needed Monday through Thursday at the Archives or on the weekend for our events. As a Mazer volunteer activities vary from sorting material donations and photographing objects to event planning and preparations and collaborating with partner organizations. Come for the lively conversation, sense of community, and thrill of discovery. Your participation will make a difference in other women’s lives and in the archiving of lesbian history.
