Mazer Queer Shorts: Reel Lesbians on Film presents a curated 75-minute program of narrative and documentary short films from the 80's, 90's, and 2000's. This archival collection highlights the boldness of sapphic storytelling exploring themes of love, coming-of-age, butch-femme identity, response to the AIDS crisis, and the resilience and strength of lesbian and queer communities across generations. Through these short films the audience is invited to engage with a vital cinematic story that continues to shape contemporary queer culture.
Strong language and brief partial nudity, no late seating!
This program is part of the City of West Hollywood’s free 2026 WeHo Pride Arts Festival, 2 full days of FREE LGBTQ+ art, theatre, drag, music, and crafts taking place May 23-24.
