Sisterhood Digital Exhibit
For 27 years, Sisterhood Bookstore was a place where women could see themselves in literature, share their experiences, and find community.
Through its books, readings, and community events, it helped connect lesbians and feminists to each other and to wider movements for liberation. This exhibit draws from the Simone Wallace Sisterhood Bookstore Collection to explore how Sisterhood Bookstore helped shape movements in Los Angeles and beyond and why its legacy still matters today.
