JUNE MAZER GRAND RE-OPENING

  • Werle Building 626 North Robertson Boulevard West Hollywood, CA, 90069 United States (map)

You are cordially invited to the Grand Re-Opening of Mazer Lesbian Archives at the beautifully renovated Werle Building in West Hollywood, CA.

We are excited to have you as our guest and be apart of this red carpet event with scheduled guided tours of the archives and a reception. Come experience the Simone Wallace Collection of Sisterhood Bookstore.

Sisterhood Bookstore was located in Westwood, CA and had to close its doors in 1999 after a 27-year commitment to the diversity and the commonality of women's experience.

The bookstore’s mission was to thrive as an independent bookstore by offering the best service and the deepest, most diverse choice of books and also provide a center for the women's community where women and men can gather, exchange information, and use our resources to move the community toward political action.

Register today for a 30 minute guided tour of the archives and view the personal and collective histories donated by hundreds of lesbians and feminists. The Archives encourages all lesbians to deposit the everyday mementos of your lives so that others can discover them in the future.
